The Southern Highlands is the ideal self drive destination and offers visitors drive itineraries and suggestions which will showcase the region.

There are full day drives, morning or afternoon drives.  Drives which focus on attractions such as the cool climate wineries and cellar doors, or nature based drives which will take visitors to the National Park and beyond.  For those who have time to explore there are drives taking in the many villages scattered throughout the region.  There are also drives which link the Southern Highlands to its neighbouring regions, like the Grand Pacific Drive.
