Expect to hear a piece by Andrew Lloyd Webber played with one hand, and another by Bach in the other, at the same time; a memorable "translation" of the lyrics of "Waltzing Matilda", a well-known folk tune played in the styles of Mozart, Rachmaninoff and an i-Pod (!), plus lots of beautiful music played by an acknowledged master. Six strikingly varied gardens are open to raise funds for the establishment of the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens on the recently dedicated site, on the corner of Old South and Kangaloon Roads, Bowral. Three town and three country gardens with displays of floral art, botanical art and sculpture as well as a large plant stall with many rare and unusual varieties for sale. Hundreds of cool climate plants will be for sale as well as daffodil bulbs from local breeder and grower, Tony Davis. Admission to the plant stall is free.

Whether it's your first time to the Southern Highlands or you've lived here all your life, you will be stunned by the breathtaking beauty of the region during the 52nd Tulip Time Festival 2012.  Over 100,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals are planted each year to transform Bowral's Corbett Gardens and other parks across the shire into stunning displays of sweeping Spring colour.

For the duration of the 14-day festival you can enjoy a changing program of events including specialist shows on the weekends.

See some of Australia 's best and most beautiful private gardens opened to the public during Tulip Time. Each private garden conducts talks by the owners or head gardeners.

Admission to Corbett Gardens apply - Adults $8, concession $5, groups over 20 persons $4-50.

Perfect for foodies and time poor treasure hunters!
The markets are held rain, hail or shine and there’s ample on-site parking, great coffee, egg and bacon rolls and other treats to eat for a morning made in heaven!
