Directions: Coming from Canberra, travel along the freeway past the McDonalds / Shell roadhouse. Take the Illawarra Highway exit towards Moss Vale. Travel for approximately 15 klms through the village of Sutton Forest until you reach Moss Vale. Continue through the township and when you reach the roundabout, turn to the right towards Robertson which is the continuation of the Illawarra Highway. Travel for approximately 10 klms and, at the intersection, turn right onto Church Road towards Burrawang. Continue for approximately 3.6 klms. At the T intersection, turn left into Wildes Meadow Road. As you start to go up the hill, the cottage can be seen on your left on top of the hill. You will see a post and rail fence on your left. This is the driveway to The Tor. 'The Tor' is at the entrance to the driveway
Coming from Sydney, take the Bowral / Mittagong exit and continue towards Bowral. As you travel through Bowral shops (take Bong Bong Street, not the by-pass) you will pass through three small roundabouts. As you head away from the shops, you will reach a large roundabout at Kangaloon Road, turn to the left and head towards Robertson on Kangaloon Road until you reach the intersection at the Illawarra Highway, about ten minutes. Note that Kangaloon Road becomes Sheep Wash Road about half way along. Turn to the left and travel for approximately 1.5kms until you see the right hand turn onto Church Road and the small green sign to head towards Burrawang. Follow this all the way to the end, past Burrawang township. Note that it is a long winding road. At the end, there is a T intersection, however the road tends to naturally veer to the left, and there is a sign announcing Wildes Meadow. Turn left into this road, which is Wildes Meadow Road and follow almost to the end. The Tor is the last property on the left hand side (about 1 km) You can see the cottage up on the hill.
